SUPPLIER : PEQUIGNET
Coming from the Pequignet manufacture, the initial movement engraved Pierre Lannier is 4.00mm high, for 28800 vib/h (4Hz). Thanks to its barrel, the initial caliber enables to have 65 hours of power reserve. Moreover, its inverter will allow the weight to wind the barrel in both directions, which will reduce wear. With this feature, enjoy every movement of the rotor, regardless of its direction. On the weight, the Geneva ribs are characteristic with a 45° inclination for the bridges.
The Pierre Lannier logo is engraved in black decal for a contrasting effect.
The Initial Caliber has a larger date disc, which makes it easier for the user to read the date. A patent has been filed for the date drive system, which significantly reduces the time between two days.
The date disc is on a blue background, with white prints. The Pantone used is P.295C. The number 7 is in red, in reference to 1977, Pantone P.186C.
This particular shaped back is screwed into the case middle with 4 traditional flat screws. The inscriptions are not engraved but in negative, which gives a relief to the text that seems to stand out from the back. The reading direction has not been left to chance: when the watch is placed on its side at 9 o'clock, all the text is readable in the same direction. An identification "plate" seems to be detached from the back, on which the watch's serial number is laser engraved. The glass of the back is also in sapphire to keep an excellent vision of the movement through the years.
SUPPLIER: BERTHELET HORLOGERIE
The construction is an assembly by front with the movement which comes to be fixed inside the case middle thanks to holding screws. The particularity of this case is the subtly curved profile on the sides which offers a permanent shine.
The multiple edges of this case on the side of the lugs as well as the chamfers under the case add complexity to the volume and allow the light to be reflected from various angles.
The top of the lugs is brushed (following the direction of the horn). The alternation of brushed, polished and bulging parts are the details that make this apparently simple case a well accomplished product.
The crown is screwed, and the Pierre Lannier logo is in polished relief on the sandblasted part.
The carefully polished flange is slightly inclined to allow for a depth effect, further emphasizing the sobriety of the components and the purity of the dial.
This dial has the specificity of being curved on the outside. This detail gives a resonance in the polished case flange. For technical reasons, the underside of the dial is milled to give height, otherwise the curved dial would not be possible. The second special feature is the color, a deep blue Pantone P.295C with a sunray finish, signature of PIERRE LANNIER.
The three-faceted indexes offer us sparkling flashes that illuminate this dial. A small additional nod to French manufacturing: the minute track is joined on either side of the index at 6 o'clock and evokes the blue white and red flag.
Last but not least, the "1977" logo is not located anywhere: its position takes on its full meaning every 60 seconds...
Made by LA PRATIQUE, the brass hands have a polished steel finish, with a three-faceted effect and skeleton parts at the ends. The paint on the hour and minute hands is 11.00 mm and 15.00 mm respectively.
When the second hand is at 12 o'clock, the "PL" comes in the logo position with the inscription "1977" of the dial.
SUPPLIER: HAAS TANNERIES
The material is NOVONAPPA gold color in a smooth finish. The leather of the lining is ZERMATT in natural color (with honey shades).
The raw hides have been worked and dyed in the tannery with great expertise. The natural colors of the leather highlight the deep blue of the dial and confer it an elegant dimension.Pre-order
