To make cleaning easier, you should have a few tools at hand: a chamois or microfiber cloth, a soft bristle brush, and a specific lotion or colorless polish for the straps. First, to clean a non-waterproof case. Take a soft cloth or microfiber cloth and rub, without pressing on the case, to remove most of the dust and dirt. Once this step is completed, take a small soft brush, also known as a "watchmaker's brush". Scrub lightly on the case in a circular motion. Don't press on the case, as this may cause cracks. Iron the cloth on the case to remove all the small particles that the passage of the brush could have made appear. Finally, to complete the cleaning, moisten a corner of the chamois and pass it gently over the case, always making circles. For the crown, gently pass over it with a soft cloth to remove any dust that may have accumulated over the years.
